SAFE:
The acid of the AxiWin^® AGM batteries is permanently absorbed in the glass fibre separators, which makes the battery leak-proof (UN2800). AGM batteries produce almost no gas.
The formation of oxyhydrogen can only occur as a result of very serious overcharging and then only in very low concentrations.
Although a well-ventilated battery compartment is always the preferred choice, the AGM battery is the ideal choice if this is not possible.

EASE OF USE:
The applied technology allows 99.5% of the liquid to be recombined during charging. Except for the necessary recharging, an AGM battery requires no additional attention.

RELIABLE:
The glass fibre mat in the AGM batteries contains relatively little acid but in an increased concentration. This makes the batteries lighter in weight and makes the battery resistant to deep discharging. It is furthermore capable of providing high starting currents and it will charge quickly. The DC series has additional cyclic power, which makes it highly suitable for use in heavy applications such as internal transport, hydraulic arms, bow thrusters, anchor winches, solar panels, and in particular also for use as a service battery in caravans and boats. In short, the AGM battery is the new alternative for the “old fashioned” GEL technology!

VERSATILE:
An AGM battery can be mounted in all positions. It is even no problem to permanently install the battery at a 90-degree angle.
